The Spartans and Benton Community Bobcats put up two runs each in the first inning with six Spartans crossing the plate in the bottom of the fourth while Benton scored one run each in the fourth, fifth, and sixth as Solon took the contest 8-5.
Dylan Gorham, Luke Merrick, Luke Deike, Brady Wick, Michael Bigelow, and Sawyer Hansel produced one hit apiece with a homerun and two RBIs for Merrick. Tate Miller took the win after six innings on the mound with five hits and five runs (three earned), walking five and striking out six.

Two Solon runs in the bottom of the first inning were answered by three Bobcat runs in the second and two in the third. Two Spartans scored in the third to keep the game close, but a seven-run fifth inning for Benton, coupled with three scoreless innings for Solon, put the game out of reach.
Maddox Kelley, Luke Merrick, and Carson Kidwell had two hits each with a double for Kidwell and Brody Woolley, and Luke Deike, Hayden Detra, and Woolley produced an RBI each. Deike took the loss after 3-2/3 innings on the mound giving up five hits and five runs (three earned), walking two, and striking out two. Ty Turner, Milo Menzel, and Thomas Lepic also appeared on the mound.

The Spartans and Vikings opened with one run each in the first inning followed by a five-run effort by Solon in the top of the second with five more runs going up in the fourth, and two more to end the game in the fifth.
Solon’s 13 runs came off six hits with a pair of doubles (and three RBIs) from Sawyer Hansel and one each by Dylan Gorham, Maddox Kelley, Luke Merrick, and Brady Wick. Wick earned the win with three innings on the bump giving up three hits and two runs (one earned), and striking out two.

One Spartan run in the top of the first inning was followed by five scoreless innings and three Viking runs in the fifth. A seventh inning rally was thwarted with only one Solon run scored. The Spartans came up on the wrong side of a 6-5 final score in a non-conference match up against the Assumption Catholic Knights. Both squads plated a run in the first inning with Solon taking a brief 2-1 lead in the top of the third before two Knights scampered in in the bottom half. The game knotted 4-4 in the fifth with two Spartan runs and one for Assumption and tied 5-5 in the sixth before the winning run scored in the bottom of the seventh. Luke Deike led with three hits and two RBIs with two hits including a double for Luke Merrick among Solon’s ten hits. Thomas Lepic received the loss after three innings on the mound giving up five hits and three earned runs, walking one, and striking out two.

15 hits from up and down the Spartan roster led to 16 runs and a commanding win over the Stormin’ Pointers. Maddox Kelley led Solon with three hits including a triple while Luke Merrick made the most of his one hit – a homerun, driving in four runs in the contest. Luke Deike had two hits with three RBIs, and Brady Wick produced two hits. Deike went the five-inning distance giving up two hits and one run, walking none, and striking out six.

A dozen hits, a dozen runs, and a doubleheader sweep for Solon over WaMaC East foe CPU, who dropped to 2-27 on the season with the pair of losses as the Spartans improved to 17-5. Maddox Kelley, Luke Merrick, Luke Deike, Hayden Detra, and Kinnick Sokol produced two hits apiece with a double each for Kelley and Detra. Dylan Gorham had one hit, a triple.
