Finding Nemo Jr. takes the stage at the Solon Center for the Arts
Solon Middle School Drama’s production of Disney’s Finding Nemo Jr. takes the stage at the Solon Center for the Arts at the high school this Friday and Saturday.
Showtimes – Friday, June 19, 7 p.m. and Saturday, June 20, 2 p.m.
Admission is $10 for adults and students at solonms.ludus.com or at the door via cash or card.
Kleppe celebration of life
There will be a gathering to celebrate the life of Solon’s longtime public servant, Scott Kleppe, Sunday, June 21, at the Lake McBride Golf Course from 2-6 p.m. with a prayer service to follow. Kleppe, who was the Public Works Director for the City of Solon for 26 ½ years and also Assistant City Administrator, died on Wednesday, June 10.
Music on Mainstreet Concert
Series continues
The annual Music on Mainstreet Concert Series continues Wednesday, June 24 as Solon’s own Mill Creek Band, featuring James McAtee, returns to the stage in downtown Solon at 7 p.m. with a wide variety of music from the 60s to today including pop, rock, country, and blues.
The free concert series runs every Wednesday through August 12. and is dedicated to the memory of longtime Solon servant Scott Kleppe.
The July 15 concert, featuring Solon native Alex Newkirk, will be held at Meadowlark Acres (Solon Senior Housing) due to Beef Days set-up.
Meal & a Movie returns!
The Solon Public Library, in partnership with Solon Senior Advocates, announces the return of Meal & a Movie starting Friday, June 26 at 11 a.m. at the Library.
