A group of kids hustles to gather plastic eggs full of candy during the 2025 Solon Optimist Club’s Easter Egg Hunt. 3,456 eggs were gathered within three minutes by 117 children. This year’s event is scheduled for Saturday, April 4 at the SRNA.

Spring Festival

• Saturday, April 4, 10 a.m.-3 p.m. at Palmer House Stable, 200 E. Main St.

• An appearance by the Easter Bunny, food, games, cocktails, and shopping

Solon Optimist Club Annual Easter Egg Hunt

• Saturday, April 4, 1:30-2:30 p.m. at Solon Recreation and Nature Center (SRNA)

• Free event

Solon HS Empty Bowls Luncheon to End Hunger

• Saturday, April 11, 11:00 a.m. at Solon HS

• Annual event featuring a modest meal of soup and bread served in ceramic bowls handcrafted by Solon HS art students, educators, and community members.

• Suggested donation – $10 with all proceeds donated to local food pantries.

Spartan Dash 2026

• Saturday, April 25, 8 a.m-12 p.m. at Solon Recreation and Nature Area (SRNA)

• This annual 1 mile all-ages family fun run with obstacles (also concessions, raffle prizes, a photographer, and a DJ) through the SRNA is the largest fundraiser for the Parent-Teacher Organizations (PTO) at Lakeview Elementary and Solon Intermediate School.
