The Lady Spartan wrestlers entered the final weeks of the season with a double dual meet sweep Thursday, Jan. 15 as they took down WaMaC foes Benton Community and Marion. Solon tied with Benton 42-42 and won by tiebreaker (15 first points vs. nine for Benton) and topped Marion 39-31.

The Spartans, sporting pink singlets for breast cancer awareness, welcomed the future of their program as members of the youth wrestling program were recognized and honored five seniors on Senior Night – Alexis Anderson, Abby Gregory, Alannah Mahoney, Adlie Miller, and McKenna Rogers.
