“Saturday was a result of having a great week of practice leading up to competition,” said Head Coach Aaron Hadenfeldt. “The boys worked hard the entire week, and good things happen when you work hard. I was proud of their effort, and we can wrestle that way the rest of the year. It was a great way to start off the second half of our season and I expect the same moving forward with them.” The Spartans started the new year by running the table in their home dual meet tournament with a 5-0 showing for the championship.
