The parent meeting and student sign up for Solon Spartan Archery is Sunday, October 19 at the Solon Methodist Church’s Family Life Center.

Students at Solon Intermediate School (SIS) and Solon Middle School (SMS) have been learning about archery this week in their PE classes and the archery program hopes to start an elementary team this year, as well.

Meeting and sign up times are as follows:

SIS – 3:30 p.m.

SMS – 5:00 p.m.

SHS – 6:00 p.m.

Sign up forms are due Friday, October 31.

Practice for SMS and HS beginners starts Tuesday, Nov. 18 and for returning students Tuesday, Nov. 25.

The first tournament (a home tournament for Solon) will be Saturday, Dec. 13. The Spartan Archers will also host a tournament the weekend of January 10.
