MARION — Solon’s Avery Feuerbach won the junior varsity (JV) 100-yard backstroke in 1:18.78 Tuesday, Sept. 23 as the Iowa City High Little Hawks took on the Linn-Mar Lions in Marion. Feuerbach, Madelyn Elkins, Ireland Hagarty, Ella Pressler, and Paige Anderson are swimming for the Little Hawks this season.

Linn-Mar won the varsity meet 110-76.

Elkins took third in the varsity 100 butterfly (1:18.52) and fourth in the 50 freestyle (27.98) while Hagarty was fourth in 1-meter diving (130.35).
