Scout Pack/Troop 120 will hold their annual Scouting for Food drive next month.
Scouts will be placing door hangers throughout Solon Saturday, October 18 and will pick up food left on porches/door steps the morning of Saturday, October 25 for delivery to the Solon Community Food Pantry.
Elaine Claude, Director of the Pantry, said their current needs include: canned meat (canned chicken needed most), hamburger and tuna helper, pancake mix, syrup, cake mix, frosting, mandarin oranges, crunchy peanut butter, jelly, ramen noodles, sweet cereal, mayo, ketchup, mustard, BBQ sauce, chunky soups, stews, baked beans, boxed potatoes like au gratin, scalloped, julienne (not instant mashed because we have those) soaps, shampoos, toothpaste, deodorants, dog and cat food, soap and laundry detergent, Paper products (paper towels, napkins, etc.), we do not need mac and cheese at this time.
