Library Programs
Looking for lively conversation and your next great read? The Solon Book Club meets monthly for thought-provoking (and often laugh-filled) discussions on a wide variety of titles—fiction, nonfiction, and everything in between. Each month, a different member picks the book and leads the chat, so there’s always something new and unexpected. Tuesday, August 19, at 6:30 p.m. we’re chatting about The Storied Life of A.J. Fikry by Gabrielle Zevin. New members are always welcome—bring your love of books and a curious mind!
Technology and how we use it is always changing, it can be mind boggling to try to keep up. That’s where we’re ready to help with Tech Talk Thursday, August 21, at 9:30 a.m. Bring your device(s) and questions for hands on help.
Storytime will take a short break Tuesday, August 26 and September 2. Join us Tuesday, September 9, at 10:30 a.m. for songs, books, and games! Weekly Storytime is intended for preschool age children and their caregivers, siblings always welcome.
