From regional battles to the big stage, Iowa girls are chasing championship dreams! Don’t miss a moment – Iowa PBS will be there live as champions are crowned.
The statewide network’s commitment to girls high school sports coverage continues as teams from across the state compete at the 2025 IGHSAU Girls State Softball Championships. Coverage of each class’s title game will begin on Thursday, July 24 at 5 p.m. and Friday, July 25 at 2:30 p.m. The championship games will be played at Harlan Rogers Park in Fort Dodge. Each game will be broadcast on statewide Iowa PBS and livestreamed on iowapbs.org and YouTube.
Iowa PBS will feature Brad Wells and Aly Cappaert as announcers for the two Thursday night games. Paul Yeager and Laura Leonard will announce the three games on Friday.

Friday, July 25
Class 3A | 2:30 p.m.
Class 2A | 5 p.m.
