501 Wartburg students named to Winter/ May Term Dean’s List
WAVERLY — Wartburg College has recognized 501 students who were named the 2025 Winter/May Term Dean’s List. Those honored include Morgan Link, Kerrigan Lyons, Anna Quillin, and Sophia Stahle, all of Solon. The list honors students who earned a cumulative grade-point average of 3.5 or above in at least five course credits during the terms. Four of the five course credits have to be graded with a traditional letter grade. Wartburg students take four courses during Winter Term, which runs from January through April, and one course during the one-month May Term.
Trevor Myers has been named to Upper Iowa University’s Spring 2025 Dean’s List
FAYETTE — Upper Iowa University is pleased to announce the Dean’s List for the Spring 2025 semester. To be honored, the undergraduate must have earned a minimum 3.50 GPA and be enrolled as a full-time student. Among those named to the Dean’s List was Trevor Myers, an undeclared major from Solon.
Ely’s Emily Crumbo of Ely named to University of Alabama Spring 2025 Presidents List
TUSCALOOSA, AL — Emily Crumbo was named to The University of Alabama Presidents List for Spring Semester 2025. A total of 14,289 students enrolled during Spring Semester 2025 at The University of Alabama were named to the dean’s list with an academic record of 3.5 (or above) or the president’s list with an academic record of 4.0 (all A’s). These driven students are making waves across UA’s more than 70 undergraduate programs and 12 colleges and schools. The UA dean’s and president’s lists recognize fulltime undergraduate students. Luther College names Hickman to spring Dean’s List
DECORAH — Maggie Hickman of Solon has been named to the spring 2025 Dean’s List at Luther College. To qualify, a student must earn a semester grade point average of 3.5 or better on a 4.0 scale.
Iowa State honors spring graduates
AMES — Nearly 4,600 graduates received degrees from Iowa State University this spring. Graduate and undergraduate commencement ceremonies were held May 15-17. Larry Buss and John “J.R.” Robinson received honorary degrees during the spring ceremonies.
