SHELLSBURG — The varsity Spartans won the WaMaC East Divisional golf meet Monday, May 5 at Wildcat Golf Course in Shellsburg with 294 to lead the six-team field.

Isaiah Zoske won the individual title, medaling with 67 across the 18 holes. Nolan Seagren carded 73 for fourth on the leaderboard with Tyler Greazel shooting 76 for a six-way tie for seventh place, Nicholas Stahle and Ryder Laing both had 78 in a three-way tie for 13th place, and Grant Gordon had 91 on the day for 31st.

The Spartans followed up the next day by winning the Cedar Rapids Country Club Invitational with 318, besting Waverly-Shell Rock (323), Ballard (324), and Pella (338).

Zoske medaled again, this time with 73. Laing tied for fourth at 79, Seagren carded 82 to tie for tenth, Gordon had 84 to tie for 12th, Greazel shot 88 in a three-way tie for 19th, and Stahle shot 92 tying for 23rd.
