WEST BRANCH — The Hoover Presidential Foundation will hold its annual Festival of Trees during the “A Christmas Past” celebration in West Branch December 6-7, 10:00 a.m.-8:00 p.m. at the Rummells Center at 127 W Main Street in West Branch.
Members of the Hoover Presidential Foundation will get a sneak peek during a VIP Member reception Thursday, December 5, from 5:00-7:00 p.m. with refreshments provided. Members wishing to attend can call the Foundation at 319-643-5327 or by emailing [email protected]. Themed “Holiday Movie Magic,” the large festive display of Christmas trees are each decorated to reflect a popular holiday movie. Kids of all ages will recognize films across the generations. In total, 15 trees will be on display. In addition, the public will be able to bid on a dazzling tree showcased at the event.
Bidding will run during Christmas Past ending December 7, and the winner will be able to bring the tree home with them. Proceeds will support the Festival of Trees. This event is free and open to the public during A Christmas Past.
