SOLON — Solon American Legion Stinocher Post 460 conducted their annual Memorial Day ceremony Monday morning at the all veterans memorial.
“As proud Americans we should all remember that our freedom is not free. It is only possible because heroes, some from our own families or neighborhoods, have paid the ultimate price. It is that price which enables us to be with our families and friends, to get married, raise children and grandchildren, and live happy lives. We must always remember them and may they all rest in peace,” said Adam Hopp, Post 460 Commander in his remarks.
Solon Scout Troop 120, the Solon High School Marching Band, Solon American Legion Riders, and Solon Legion Auxiliary helped with the ceremony.
