SOLON — The largest class to go through the Solon Community School District, to date, crossed the stage and received their diplomas signifying the end of 12 years of primary and secondary education during the 2024 Commencement Sunday afternoon. Among the 138 seniors 74 graduated with the highest honors – a Grade Point Average (GPA) between 3.75-4.0 while 20 graduated with high honors (GPA of 3.5-3.75) and nine graduated with honors (GPA 3.25-3.49).
This year’s Salutatorians were Kassandra Rummel, Natalia Radcliffe, Kira Burkum, Benjamin Duckett, Grant Knipper, Josie Ryan, and Mia Stahle.
Valedictorians were Gracie Federspiel, Rylie Greazel, Jamison Grimm, Tatum Holtkamp, Elizabeth Iverson, Hope Jeffers, Benjamin Kampman, Kayla Meseck, Hailey Miller, Isabella Miller, Peyton Pentico, and Kate Richards. Pentico, Grimm, Jeffers, and Isabella Miller offered reflections on the past and a look toward the future as they delivered brief remarks.
The Solon Economist congratulates these seniors for all they have accomplished thus far and wishes them all the best as they go off to work, trade school, community/junior college, a four-year institution, or the military.
