IOWA CITY — The League of Women Voters of Johnson County (LWVJC) will host a public forum for the five democratic candidates on the Tuesday, June 4 primary election ballot for Johnson County Supervisor Tuesday, May 21 at the Iowa City Senior Center, 28 South Linn Street, in Iowa City.
Incumbents Lisa Green-Douglass, Royceann Porter, and Rod Sullivan with challengers Bob Conrad and Mandi Remington are vying for three spots on the November general election ballot. The forum is open to the public and audience members are welcome to submit questions for the candidates. League member Shannon Patrick will moderate the forum with League member Polly Horton serving as timekeeper.
The event, scheduled for 7-8:30 p.m., will be live-streamed on the LWVJC Facebook page – https://www.facebook.com/LWVJCIA and recordings of the event will be available at www.lwvjc.org and Iowa City Public Access TV’s website, www.citychannel4.com.
