“Going in, we knew we could put together a good team score,” said Coach Curtis Hendrickson. “We had a couple of our normal varsity players who were out due to a college class conflict. We had two Sophomores step into the lineup, and they did an excellent job! Both have had some varsity experience from earlier this season, so that really paid off today.”
The Lady Spartans hosted the Class 3A Region 4 state qualifying tournament Wednesday, May 15 ahead of the Class 3A State Tournament Thursday, May 23 and Friday, May 24 at the Pheasant Ridge Golf Course in Cedar Falls. State Meet tickets must be purchased in advance at https://gobound.com.
