IOWA CITY — The Johnson County League of Women Voters will host a legislator’s forum on healthcare Saturday, Feb. 24 at the Iowa City Senior Center, 28 S. Linn St. in Iowa City from 9:30-11:30 a.m.
Senator Dawn Driscoll, Senator Zach Wahls, Senator Janice Weiner, Representative Heather Hora, Representative Dave Jacoby, Representative Elinor Levin, Representative Amy Nielsen, Representative Brad Sherman, and Representative Adam Zabner have been invited to attend, share their ideas, and answer questions. League members will moderate the forum and accept questions from the audience.
This is the second of three forums scheduled during the 2024 Legislative session. The third forum is scheduled for Saturday, March 30 and will focus on public safety. The first forum, held Jan. 27, focused on education. A recording of the first forum is available on the LWVJC and City Channel 4 websites.
