The Solon Public Library and the General Federation of Women’s Clubs (GFWC)/Solon Women’s Club are partnering with NAMI (National Alliance on Mental Illness) of Johnson County to present “In our Own Voices,” a mental health program Saturday, Feb. 24 at 10:30 a.m. at the library.
This is the second program in a four-part series and the presentation is designed to help change attitudes, assumptions, and ideas about people with mental health conditions. The program gives a personal perspective as leaders with mental health conditions talk openly about what it is like to have a mental illness.
The event is free and open to the public. Refreshments will be provided.
