“Our conference is the premier wrestling conference in the state, with eight of the 12 teams ranked, and this weekend was a preview of what the rest of our season is going to look like competition-wise as it’s tough from here on out,” said Coach Aaron Hadenfeldt. “We had some bright spots, such as Lucas Feuerbach avenging a couple losses from earlier in the year, and Evan Burg continues to improve. We left some matches out there that I thought we should have gotten, but we need to move past it and onto these next couple weeks, starting with Tuesday at Mount Vernon for the chance to go to state duals (after this edition’s printing). They’re a tough team this year, but we’re pretty dang tough when we put it all together too. They’re going to get our best shot.”
