The Solon Spartan Trapshooting Team will hold their annual informational and registration meeting Sunday, Feb. 4 at the Solon Public Library from 2-4:00 p.m.
Trapshooting is for 6th-12th grade students of the Solon Community School District and the team competes in the game of American Trap at local events from March through State competition in June. First and foremost, participants are taught the safe and responsible handling of a firearm. Members compete as an individual and as a squad.
“Trap teaches shooters how to focus and build physical discipline with improvement in stability and coordination,” said Catherine Bilskie.
