Allison Quaintance dressed as Santa Claus in keeping with the Christmas theme for the student section last Friday night as the varsity Spartans took on West Delaware in a Class 3A State Quarterfinals game. With Allison is Brynn Deike and other assorted elves.
SOLON — During every home varsity football game the student section dons attire in accordance with a specific theme, and the Class 3A State Quarterfinal game against West Delaware last Friday was no exception. Perhaps they took a cue from radio stations that have already switched to an all-Christmas music format. Regardless, Santa, Elves, ugly sweaters, even Christmas lights were observed.
