Tech Talk at the library
Our new Tech Talk series has been created to help patrons keep up with the ever-changing technology. This will take place the third Thursday of each month at 9:30 a.m. with the focus on different topics each month.
Thursday, Sept. 21 – The Solon Public Library offers eBooks and eAudiobooks for our patrons. Come learn how to access them, learn about the changes to the app, or start using these electronic resources. Bring along your phone, tablet, or favorite device and learn how to install and use the Libby app to access our library’s service to read eBooks and listen to audiobooks on your own device, for FREE.
Thursday, October 19 – Next month we’ll talk about the basics of using email. Participants will learn to save contacts, add attachments, create a signature, how to safely keep track of your passwords, and spot scams. Bring your email login information and password. Laptops from our new mobile tech lab will be available for use, but if you have a laptop or device you want to be comfortable using, feel free to bring it with you.

Community Center activities
Yoga – Tuesdays, 6-7:00 p.m. Call 319-624-2499 for dates and times of the next session.
Zumba – Tuesday and Thursday mornings, 9-10:00 a.m. at the Community Center, cost $1.

Chair Yoga
Mondays at 12:30 p.m. and Wednesdays at 10:00 a.m. at the Solon Public Library.
Come join the FREE class. Feel stronger, more balanced, and flexible. Better balance can prevent falls! People of all ages can benefit from chair yoga, come try it out!
