The Rock Star ride rises over the parking lot of Sam’s Main Street Market Friday, July 21 as the 2023 Solon Beef Days gets underway. This year’s festivities marked the 50th year of the event, which started in 1971 but lost two years (flood detours in 1993 and the pandemic in 2020).
