Sage Witham
Sage L. Witham, 17 of Solon, passed away Wednesday, July 5, 2023 at MercyOne Hospital in Des Moines, Iowa.
Visitation was held from 3-6 p.m. Sunday, July 9, 2023 at Morris Funeral Home in Guttenberg. Visitation continued at St. John’s Lutheran Church from 9-10 a.m. prior to funeral services.
Funeral services were held at 10 a.m. Monday, July 10, 2023 at St. John’s Lutheran Church in Guttenberg. Burial followed in Guttenberg City Cemetery. Pastor Michael Ashman officiated.
Sage was born Sept. 16, 2005 in Cedar Rapids, the daughter of Travis and Kara (Grimsled) Witham.
She enjoyed being startled by loud noises that would make her laugh until she cried and also all the hugs she received from mom and dad. She liked to listen to country music and really enjoyed sleeping in as a teenager.
Survivors include her parents, Travis and Kara Witham of Solon; siblings Garret and Payton; paternal grandparents, Glenn and Donna Witham of Guttenberg; maternal grandparents, Douglas and Gail Grimsled of Viroqua, Wis., and many uncles, aunts and cousins.
