Wednesday, July 26 – Circa 21 Dinner Playhouse, Rock Island, leaving the Rec Park at 10:00 a.m.
“Escape from Margaritaville,” lunch included. Limit of 25, cost $65 paid in part thanks to Bridge Community Bank
Wednesday, August 16 – Celebration Belle, Dubuque.
Bare Foot Becky & The Ivanhoe Dutchmen. Cost $65, limit of 35, leaving the Rec Park at 8:45 a.m.
Thursday, October 19 – Breitbach’s Restaurant, Gay’s Mills Apple Orchards. Cost $65, leaving Rec Park at 9:15 a.m.
Trip costs depend on the number of participants! We advertise in the Economist and via monthly newsletters, but we need to reach more seniors in our community. Senior Dining —July 4th and Beef Days Celebration Friday, July 21. Wear an apron for 4th cook-out OR Beef Days T-shirt
Movie and a Meal — “The Noel Diary” Friday, July 28 at the Methodist Church Fellowship Hall. Arrive at 11:00, dine at 11:30. Meal cost $4.00.
Restaurant Runs – Friday, Sept. 22 – Bluff Lake Fish Restaurant – Lisbon Auto Rental cost TBA.
Solon Senior Transport
The Solon Transport Service is looking for volunteer drivers. Please call Cindy Jensen, 319-360-3279, to volunteer or to request an enrollment form, information, and a detailed brochure to access transportation to medical appointments.
