Wednesday, July 26 – Circa 21 Dinner Playhouse, Rock Island
“Escape from Margaritaville,” lunch included. Limit of 36, cost TBA, leaving the Rec Park at 10:00 a.m.
Wednesday, August 16 – Celebration Belle, Dubuque.
Bare Foot Becky & The Ivanhoe Dutchmen. Cost TBA, leaving the Rec Park at 8:45 a.m.
Thursday, October 10 – Breitbach’s Restaurant, Gay’s Mills Apple Orchards. Leaving Rec Park at 9:15 a.m.
Trip costs depend on the number of participants! We advertise in the Economist and via monthly newsletters but we need to reach more seniors in our community. Left: Solon’s Senior Advocates got quite a surprise when Windstar provided an Iowa Hawkeye bus for their Senior Advocate’s Great River Road trip Tuesday, April 25. “We were welcomed with waves and cheers all up and down our travels from Clinton to McGregor as we checked the sites along the way plus the extensive Mississippi River flooding,” said Advocates’ Sandy Hanson.
