Best Buddies is an organization working to provide social opportunities to individuals with special needs through friendship, leadership, and employment programs.
Saturday, April 29 the annual Best Buddies Friendship Walk will be held at Kingston Stadium in Cedar Rapids starting at 12:30 p.m. Best Buddies groups from around the area will be coming together and walking to support inclusion, and anyone in the community is welcome to join them.
The Solon High School Best Buddies Chapter has established a goal of raising $100 to go toward supporting people with intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD). The chapter has three steps to get involved:
