SOLON — Iowa Brass, formerly known as the Eastern Iowa Brass Band, was formed in 1986 and lays claim to being the state’s only British-style brass band. Sunday, March 5, the band performed in a free concert at the Community Center, their first appearance since a free community Christmas Concert, which featured a community choir, back in December.
Solon is home to Iowa Brass with weekly rehearsals.
