The Solon Beef Days Committee invite amateur and professional artists to join them in celebrating the 50th annual Solon Beef Days, which will be held July 21 and 22.
The Committee is soliciting original artwork for t-shirt designs.
Artists may submit more than one design, but must meet the following criteria:
• Artwork must be produced using a conventional media or desktop publishing software
• Artwork must be 5” x 7” or larger
• Artwork must include the 50th Annual Beef Days Celebration. T-shirt designs may also include the Beef Days bandstand/tree logo and/or the celebration dates (7/21 & 7/22)
• Artwork must be original and exclusive
All artwork will become the property of the Solon Beef Days Committee. An honorarium of $100 for 1st place, $50 for 2nd place, and $25 for 3rd place will be awarded to the artists whose designs are selected by the Beef Days Committee to promote the 2023 celebration. The selected artwork will be featured on all promotional material for the Beef Days Celebration including but not limited to – programs, posters, billboards, and t-shirts.
