FRISCO, TX — Three former Solon preps met in the 2022 NCAA FCS Football Championship Sunday, Jan. 8 at Toyota Stadium in Frisco, Texas as the South Dakota State Jackrabbits upset the North Dakoda State Bison 45-21 to win their first FCS title.
Adam Bock (6-1, 215 lbs. junior linebacker) and A.J. Coons (6-4, 215 lbs. sophomore wide receiver) played for the Jackrabbits, 14-1 in the Missouri Valley Conference with the only loss this season being to the Iowa Hawkeyes in the season opener.
Cam Miller (6-1, 212 lbs. junior quarterback) played for the Bison, 12-3 and making their tenth FCS title game appearance. Miller completed 18 of 29 passes for 260 yards and two touchdowns and was intercepted twice. He also made 13 carries for 64 yards.
Bock made six tackle assists for the Jackrabbits.
