The Optimist Club of Solon will hold their annual Tri-Star Basketball Contests Sunday, Jan. 29 at the Solon Community Center (313 South Iowa St.). Contests include dribbling, passing, and shooting for ages 8-13 in both a boys and girls division. 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place awards will be presented to each age with the boys and girls champions receiving a gift certificate.
Registration is at 12:30 p.m. (application required with parental agreement signature and liability waiver form completed and signed by parent), contests start at 1:00 p.m.
Participants should bring their own basketball.
