SOLON — The auditorium of the Solon Community Center was filled with the sounds of the season Sunday, Dec. 11 as the Iowa Brass Band and Solon Community Choir partnered for “Christmas Bells are Singing,” a free Christmas concert.
The choir, directed by Angie Grecian-Bransky was composed of singers from Solon, North Liberty Iowa City, Ely, Mount Vernon, Cedar Rapids, and Rowley and performed two pieces accompanied by the Solon-based brass band (under the direction of Alexander Beamer).
Solon choir members included: Sarah Drea, Kathy Francois, Lisa Kaefring, Nancy Worrell, Kelsey Drahos, Marti Hendricks, Leia Lensing, Ruth Spieker, Dee Swartzendruber, Tom Altman, Jeff Kaefring, and Paul Saupe.
