CEDAR RAPIDS — Solon’s high school and middle school archery teams competed in Prairie, Cedar Rapids’ Bullseye Tournament recently with the high school team finishing fourth out of seven with a total score of 3,260, and the middle school team topping the seven team field with 3,101.
Mackenzie Craig was ranked first for ninth grade girls and eighth for high school girls, Brody Cash was ranked fourth for 12th grade boys and sixth for high school boys, and Cora Sutton was ranked fourth for ninth grade girls. Ashley Farnsworth, Weston Steinbrech, and Elijah Cash were all ranked fifth for ninth grade girls, 11th grade boys, and ninth grade boys respectively.
Justin Moore was ranked sixth for ninth grade boys while Trevin Wilcox and Mike Yeomans were ranked seventh for ninth grade and 11th grade boys respectively. Evann Freerks and Daniel Tearse were ranked tenth for ninth grade and 11th grade boys.
Chloe Madura was ranked first for sixth grade girls and tenth for all middle school girls, Miranda Simison and Haiden Breckner were ranked third for eighth grade girls and seventh grade girls respectively with Simison also being ranked fifth for all middle school girls. Audrey Mack was ranked fourth for eighth grade girls and sixth for all middle school girls, Deacon Waddell was ranked fourth for seventh grade boys and eighth for all middle school boys, Mackenna Craig was ranked fifth for seventh grade girls, and MJ Haege was ranked sixth for seventh grade boys.
Sawyer Rummel was ranked seventh for eighth grade boys, William McAtee was ranked eighth for seventh grade boys, Emily Pence was ranked tenth for eighth grade girls, and Evan Gleason was ranked tenth for eighth grade boys.
