A note from the Principal
Wowza! December is upon us! We are dashing through December for sure! Students are enjoying the extra days of fun we have built into our month. Thank you for helping keep things a secret for us! It’s fun for us to reveal each day’s special something!
I wanted to take this time to thank our families for making time to come in for conferences and allowing us the opportunity to share your child’s learning progress with you. Its always nice to reconnect in person with parents and partner with you in the educational process.
We look forward to a great month of learning and some solid holiday fun as we close out 2022 and look ahead to 2023! – Melissa Holtz, SIS Principal

Winter reminders
As the weather continues to drop and we prepare for the potential of snow, please keep the following in mind:
• Recess is held outdoors as long as the real feel temperature is 10° or higher.
• Students can ALWAYS use encouragement to wear their coats, gloves, and hats outside.
• It’s a good idea to write your child’s name in his/her personal belongings.
• When snow begins to fall, students will need boots and snow pants to go off of the concrete during recess.
