The Emergency Fund was set up in January of 2021 to help those families whose financial shortfalls were directly impacted by the COVID Crisis. Rent, mortgage and utility support has been provided since that time to 27 families. Requests no longer subscribe to specific COVID financial issues. Financial assistance for rent, utilities and other limited means may be made to Johnson County General Assistance, 855 S Dubuque, Suite 202B, Iowa City, 319-356-6090.
