SOLON — Homecoming Week activities hit a fever pitch Wednesday, Sept. 28 with the annual Homecoming Parade and crowning of the Homecoming King (see page 1A). Friday, Sept. 30 brought the Homecoming Game against the Washington (Iowa) Demons. The varsity Spartans rolled the Demons 44-0 (see story and photos in the sports pages).
