PELLA — Solon’s Dillon Hoit is a member of the Central College football team this season.
A 5-9, 150 lb. senior defensive back, Hoit has earned one varsity letter with 33 tackles (18 solo) last season including one tackle for a loss of yards, one interception, and one fumble recovery.
The Dutch are coming off a 12-1 overall, 10-0 regular season, and 8-0 showing in the American Rivers Conference, and winning their 32nd conference championship. Central made its 22nd NCAA Division III playoff appearance, advancing to the national quarterfinals.
Central opened the 2022 campaign with a 44-13 victory over St. Olaf College (Minnesota) on Sept. 10.
