SOLON — The Solon Parks and Recreation Department’s sand volleyball league kicked off a five-week season Sunday, August 6 at the Solon Recreation and Nature Area (SRNA).
Nine teams make up the league with six games scheduled for each team. The top six will advance to the single elimination playoffs on Sunday, Sept. 25 for the championship.
Recreation Director Dylan Sloan said due to growth in the league this season, he is looking into possibly putting in a second court at the SRNA.
The action starts every Sunday at 1:00 p.m., except for Sept. 4 (no matches).
