IOWA CITY — The Johnson County Fair runs Sunday, July 24 through Wednesday, July 27. And when the first event, the In Hand and Pleasure Horse and Pony Show kicks off at 10:00 a.m. on Sunday, the 2022 Fair Royalty will already be in-place. The Queen Pageant was held on Sunday, July 17 with five candidates – Maddie Schuh, Bridget Fisher, Solon’s Elly Holubar and Sydney Divoky (both are members of the Graham Champions 4-H Club), and Ella Isaacs competing for the crown.
Sydney was crowned as the 2022 Johnson County Fair Queen, Elly was crowned the Fair Princess, and the Community Service & Leadership Award and Miss Congeniality went to Bridget.
