SOLON — The varsity boys celebrated their Senior Night with a 5-0 shutout of WaMaC West rival Clear Creek Amana (CCA) Tuesday, May 17, and closed out the regular season.
The Spartans scored three goals in the first ten minutes and held a 4-0 lead at the break.
Senior Dillon Bruck scored twice, fellow seniors William Wittich and Gabe Hinman put in one goal apiece with one from freshman Caleb Bock. Solon improved to 14-2 overall while dropping CCA to 6-11.
Bruck, John Peters, Jordan Justus, Logan Sieverding, Owen Erusha, Wittich, Hinman, Ethan McLaughlin, Nate Ferguson, Zach Hamer, and Landon Hummel were recognized for their contributions to Spartan soccer.
