SOLON — Solon Beef Days Treasurer Don Ellis recently presented three checks totaling $950 to three Solon High School athletic teams ahead of their State meets. The organization gave $400 to the girls track team, which won the 2022 Class 3A State Championship; $300 to the boys track team; and $250 to the boys golf team.
The Solon Beef Days Committee, incorporated in 1978, has donated over $550,000 (as of last year) to local community projects, causes, and scholarships.
