MARION — The varsity boys took second place in the 2022 WaMaC conference Super Meet Monday, May 9 at the Gardner Golf Course in Marion.
Beckman Catholic took the team title with 325 followed by Solon (331), Clear Creek Amana (351), Marion (352), Center Point-Urbana (353), West Delaware (356), Independence (358), Williamsburg (359), Vinton-Shellsburg (365), Maquoketa (376), Mount Vernon (379), Benton Community (387), South Tama (390).
Franke Haege Jr. won the individual championship with 78 (39-39) for the 18-hole contest. Isaiah Zoske shot 81 (43-38), Jack McCarty had 85 (44-41), Mac McCarty carded 87 (45-42), Nathan Miller had 93 (47-46), and Brennan Heesch shot 96 for the day (47-49).
