POTOSI, WI — Warm, sunny weather with light-to-no wind was on tap as Solon’s Trapshooting Club competed in the Maquoketa Invitational Saturday, May 7 at the Southwest Wisconsin Sportsmen’s Club in Potosi, Wisconsin.
The varsity squad finished the day in second place with 226.
In varsity singles action Landon Hummel won (49) and Ian Ressler tied for ninth (46).
Intermediate – Allen Shima was seventh (43), Ethan Ressler was ninth (42), and Caden Stull finished 13th (37).
In handicap competition Cole Birky (varsity) was second (49), and Ethan Ressler (intermediate) won (49).
Ian Ressler was fourth in varsity doubles (44), Birky and Ryan Bilskie tied for sixth (43), while Ethan Ressler won in intermediate doubles (38) while Shima was sixth (33).
