MAQUOKETA — The girls golf team competed in the WaMaC East Divisional meet Monday, May 2 in Maquoketa and took second place (with 207) behind champion West Delaware (195).
Taylor Dee led Solon with 48 (third place), Camryn Keith (8th), Rylee Greazel (9th), and Lilly Houtakker (10th) carded 53, Izzy Messenger shot 57, and Peyton Pentico had 58.
The 3A Regional Final Meet is scheduled for Wednesday, May 18 at the Brown Deer Golf Club in Coralville with Assumption Catholic, Benton Community, Center Point-Urbana, Clear Creek Amana (host school), Grinnell, Maquoketa, Solon, South Tama, Wahlert Catholic, and Xavier Catholic participating.
The 2022 Girls 3A State Tournament will be held Thursday and Friday, May 26-27 at the River Valley Golf Course in Adel.
