The Solon varsity boys improved to 8-2 on the season, 4-2 in the WaMaC East, Tuesday, April 26, with a 4-0 win over the Maquoketa Cardinals, in Maquoketa.
Senior Dillion Bruck scored twice with eight total shots (three on-goal) while junior Lewis Sutton and sophomore Eli Freerks scored once each. Freerks made seven shots (six on-goal), Logan Sieverding, a senior, took three shots on-goal; seniors Owen Erusha and William Wittich, and freshman Keegan Conway all had two shots apiece with both on-goal for Conway. Wittich, Conway and Freerks were credited one assist apiece. John Peters made one save serving 80 minutes in the goal.
The Cardinals dipped to 2-8 overall, 2-7 in the WaMaC East.
