The City of Ely, staff, representatives and design engineers will be hosting a public input workshop “Spark Session” on Tuesday, August 10, from 8:30 a.m. — 7:30 p.m. in the parking lot of the Ely Fire Station.
According to Ely officials, residents and visitors are encouraged to stop by the tent set up at the fire station any time within the designated hours to provide input for the Ely “Old Town District” master plan. The old town area encompasses Fuhrmeister to Rowley and State to Main.
This visioning event will help steer design engineers in their rough draft plan regarding the future of Ely’s downtown — renderings will be fluid throughout the day as more participants provide feedback and insight. This workshop is open to the public, any and all are encouraged to attend and actively participate.
