NORTH LIBERTY– The Corridor Business Journal (CBJ) is accepting nominations for its 2021 Women of Influence awards. Honorees are recognized at a Nov. 3 awards banquet and profiled in the Nov. 8 issue of the weekly Corridor Business Journal.
Each year, ten women are recognized for making a difference in the Corridor as role models and leaders in their fields and communities. Any woman living or working in the Corridor is eligible.
Honorees are selected by the previous year’s award recipients: LaNisha Cassell, African American Museum of Iowa; Brydie Criswell, The Good Earth; Libby Gotschall Slappey, Kids First Law Center; Fae Hoover, Iowa’s Sixth Judicial District; Nancy Humbles, Cedar Rapids Community School District Board of Education; Leslie Nolte, Nolte Academy; Patti Seda, Seda Consulting; Kelly Teeselink, Girls on the Run of Eastern Iowa; Debra Worm, F&M Bank; and Millie Youngquist, Community Foundation of Washington County.
Nominations are taken online at corridorbusiness.com/events/women-of-influence/nominate/. Submissions must include the nominee’s current resume or bio and a brief statement of achievements. The 17th annual Women of Influence awards banquet is held from 5-8 p.m., Nov. 3, at the Hyatt Regency, in Coralville. Each honoree has the opportunity to share their story upon receiving the award.
