SOLON– With six varsity players in the top 15 spots on the leaderboard, Solon’s girls captured second place while hosting the WaMaC Conference East Divisional Meet at Lake MacBride Golf Course Monday, May 3.
West Delaware took the title with a team score of 189; The Lady Spartans were just off the pace with 197. Beckman Catholic (221), Marion (221) and Maquoketa (300) trailed.
Solon junior Camryn Keith was the runner-up medalist with a 44.
Sophomore Lily Houtakker added a top-five score with a 47, while senior Katlyn Jeter (51), senior Grace Helle (55), sophomore Taylor Dee (56) and junior Izzy Messenger (68) completed the varsity scoring.
