Old Gold Dining Activities
Monday-Wednesday-Friday
Old Gold Dining delivers meals obtained from the Solon Nursing Care Center to 25 senior shut-ins three days a week. In-house dining continues to be reviewed.

Proposed Restaurant Trip Option
Thursday, May 20: Order carry-out Subway sandwiches for dine-in at the Solon United Methodist Church Fellowship Hall. Simple orders first get-together, menus available for next restaurant “dine-in.” Call 319-430-8655 if interested.
Solon Community Pantry
Open Mondays 2 to 6 p.m. offering drive-up selection of items, canned, boxed, including milk and eggs, plus fresh items from Table to Table.
Our Emergency Assistance Fund has been receiving more requests for financial assistance
for utilities, rent or other emergency needs. These emergency needs may continue for some time as many circumstances have impacted these families. We are asking for support for our Emergency Fund to provide us the means to help these families to get back on their feet.
To support the Emergency Assistance Fund, donations may be directed to: Emergency Assistance Fund, Solon Community Pantry, P.O. Box 344, Solon, IA 52333. The Senior Advocates hold the 501c3 status for the Solon Community Pantry.
